Cherrywood School Safety Patrol Marching Units
The Cherrywood School Safety Patrol Marching Units is a leadership training program for students attending Cherrywood School, a “K” through “5” elementary school located in the Berryessa Union School Dist. in NE San Jose. The group has long been recognized as one of the outstanding Jr. level marching organizations in Northern Calif. The group is  part of the Cherrywood School Safety Patrol Program which last year was recognized as the best school Safety Patrol in the city of San Jose. The group is directed by Beverly Perry, a combination 4th and 5th grade Cherrywood School classroom teacher.

The Junior Drill Team is an award winning squad that has been in many parades throughout the Bay Area.  They are coached by Debbie Miller.

The All Stars Super Star Moms have only performed once before.  They are the moms, grandmas and aunts of the All Star Girls.  They are coached by Debbie Miller.

 On top of the float is a replica of the “Wall”, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Patterson School Safety Patrol Crossing Guards
These young girls and boys serve their community and school by crossing each and every student across busy streets safely and in all types of weather.  They have been selected as the Top Safety Patrol Squad in Fremont twice during the past few years.

American Flag History of Our Nation, Martin Francis
Mr. Francis is a celebrated resident of San Leandro who has been cited for his outstanding loyalty and patriotism for our country and our veterans. He has been displaying vintage American flags that date back to the beginning of our history. Mr. Francis has been recognized by Bay Area cities and recently by members of the Congress of the United States of America.
